Summer Meals for Kids are Here!

Summer Meals Now Available

The Michigan Department of Education is excited to announce the availability of the Summer Food Service Program and Meet Up and Eat Up events for children and teens across the state. Meet Up and Eat Up is a way to help parents and caregivers identify places where kids 18 and younger can gather for healthy, free summer meals at thousands of sites across Michigan.

Southeastern Michigan Block Parties:

July 9 – District 2/Palmer Park

Time: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

July 14 – District 4/Corrigan Park

Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm

July 16 – District 5/Joseph Walker Williams Center

Time: 3:00pm- 6:00pm

Where: 8431 Rosa Parks, Detroit, MI 48206


July 21 – District 6/Patton Community Center
